About SG Pilates

Sue Giltnane is a complete Pilates addict. Pilates is her happy place!

Sue is a classical trained pilates teacher who combines functional Pilates with a contemporary approach. Trained with Jpilates Ltd for Pilates Mat, Pilates Reformer and equipment trained with the Wunda Chair, Tower and Cadillac. Sue has been practicing Pilates for 20 years and has been teaching exercise for 18 years.

Sue is known for her playful and powerful teaching methods. Deepening your movement, breath, mind and body connection practise will spotlight your body’s unique needs.

Pilates with Sue will sculpt your arms tone your thighs, cinch your waist, draw your tummy in. Not only is Pilates with Sue great to tone your body, it is great for your back, hips, and knees. It’s also great for your posture, mind, strength, flexibility, balance, body awareness, muscle tone and joint mobility. Its a great form of exercise to do along side other sports to reduce the risk of injury. Sue also loves how Pilates can be adapted to the individual with modifications to suit all.

Sue’s sessions can be practised by anyone who has the desire to improve their physical and mental well-being, regardless of fitness level.

 

 

“It originally started when I had hip pain from running and my consultant recommended that I find a different form of exercise to do along my running to build strength in my hip. So I found a Pilates class. I knew straight away that the benefits would be life changing for me. Within a month or so my hip problems improved and within a few months they had pretty much gone altogether. Pilates does not work miracles, but it comes pretty close!”

Sue is very well known with many local physios, chiropractors and osteopaths and has worked closely with these professionals to help clients with specific injury rehab.

​SG Pilates sessions are available for group Mat Pilates classes , 1-1,s 1-2,s & Mini groups . Pilates Mat & Pilates Reformer are available for 1-1, 1-2. Sue teaches weekly gentle Pilates classes, beginners to intermediate and advanced classes. All Sues workouts are challenging, motivating and consistently getting results. Sue is also very passionate about health, fitness and nutrition and have a wealth of experience working with a diverse range of clients of varying abilities and requirements, enabling them to reach their goals in a fun and challenging environment.

If you are looking for a more personal approach 1-1 sessions are great to help the understanding of the basic principles of pilates.
